Greg Imbruce's 16 years in the energy industry includes direct and corporate investments in E&P, Oil Service, and Refining from startups to bankruptcies and restructurings. At ASYM Energy Partners LLC, Greg Imbruce currently serves as a Managing Director, where he is responsible for origination, structuring, execution, monitoring and exiting investments. The private investment firm concentrates on opportunities within the North American energy industry, specifically oil and natural gas exploration and production and the oil service sectors.

Previously, Greg Imbruce oversaw a private family office as a Managing Director, where he directed energy asset investments and managed acquisitions, drilling programs, and other investments. Prior to that role, Greg Imbruce was an Energy Portfolio Manager for Talek Investments (BBT Fund LP) and managed the BBT Fund's energy portfolio consisting of equities, high yield securities, derivatives, and commodities. From 2001 to 2005, he served as a Vice President and Senior High Yield Energy/Power Research Analyst for Jefferies & Company, Inc. where Mr. Imbruce became well known for his understanding of Calpine's complex capital structure and hedging instruments that enabled him to make a noteworthy call on the purchase of Calpine's various Bonds and Trade Claims during that Power company's bankruptcy. Prior to Jefferies, Greg Imbruce was a Senior Financial Analyst at Stratum Group L.P., a private equity firm focused on the energy industry. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Imbruce was an Energy Senior Analyst for Wexford Capital where he covered E&P, Oil Service and Shipping across the Hedge Fund and Special Situation Groups.

Prior to Wexford, Mr. Imbruce was an Investment Banking Financial Analyst at Credit Suisse in the Power and Infrastructure Group. Greg Imbruce is also the founder of Starboard Resources and a Board member of other ASYM porfolio companies as well as the National Emphysema Foundation. Mr. Imbruce graduated from Lehigh University in 1993 with an Economics degree, where he was also the 1992 Musser Student Entrepreneur of the year and a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society.
