Turlock, CA

I was born in a little town called Churintzio, Michoacan, Mexico and inmmigated to the United States in 1974 with a dream of creating a beter life for myself and at the same time being able to mantain my cultural values. When I first arrived to Livingston, CA. I worked in a serie of diverse jobs that ranged from harvesting strwberries, peaches and grapes to selling cars and encyclopedias. I also was a youdth minister and produced a weekly Catholic TV show that aired on Channel 19 during 10 years.

I discovered early on that I had a knack for marketing and a penchant for helping people so working in real estate seemed like a natural course for me to follow. By 1999, I decided to study for my real estate license while still working full-time at a chiropractor's office. Despite the old adage that it takes six months to a year to become succesful in real estate, I quite my job as soon as I became licensed (Probably that wasn't the smartest thing I could have done). I didn't have a closing for six months. However, necessity is the mother of invention and because of that decision, I was forced to reinvent myself quickly and my "Handsome Man" moniker was born. In reality, I had depleted my savings. A real Estate carrer requiere a lot of money to get started and that doesn't include money for adversising costs.
Tha's how I became the "Handsome Man". My wife didn't like that name at first but I todl her "let me do this". I ordered business cards and I went into business. It's easy to remember and it breaks the ice. I' am probably the only "Handsome Man" in the real estate Industry.
I am known locally as "The Handsome Man on a MIssion" and the name evolve over time from my philosopy and my personal appreciation for the word mission. In reality everyone's a missionary but sometimes we don't follow our mission. I'a in real estate and people give me a mission. They entrust threir biggest asset to me whether it's to help them buy or sell. DRE LIC 01264437
