Ian Irwin

Ian Irwin was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, he graduated from high school in the east bay and spent his college years earning a B.A. from San Jose State University in the heart of the Silicon Valley for Radio, Television & Film production, furthering his love of film making.

At San Jose State, Ian was Treasurer of the Film Production Society, and worked on many short and feature length films in the sound department for Spartan Film Studios. Recently, several of thsoe feature films have been accepted to the Cinequest International Film Festival.

Ian has extensive on-set experience working almost every position available, and has a professional yet passionate approach to film and TV production.

Off-set, Ian works at the Academic Technology Network Center, operating robotically controlled cameras and broadcast-streaming lectures for students abroad. He also works sound mixing social media commercials for the Willow Street Pizza company, located throughout the Silicon Valley.

He enjoys hiking, sailing, cycling, the novels of Robert Heinlein, and attending concerts.

He is an Eagle Scout.
