Julian S. Wood lives in Sheffield, UK.He started his teaching career aged 28 & has the benefit of working in retail for 10 years.He has been teaching for 15 academic years & has taught in 5 Schools in all year groups.He has been part of Senior Leadership Team for 8 years.

He continues to look for opportunities to improve his knowledge of recent advances in education.He considers himself a life-long learner & loves finding new ways to add to his pedagogy.

Having also been the leader of 5 Creative Partnerships projects, a member of the National QCDA Creative Partners Development Group & creativity co-ordinator for 4 years.

Julian successfully completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) course in 2010.

Julian co-created the Creative Partnerships 'inathirdspace' project in 2009.Which partnered teachers & artists,staff used mobile phones to post to a website & used Twitter (@inathirdspace)to give feedback.Julian has also created whole school blogs & websites.

Julian has a wealth of public speaking experience, these include-

• Open University event ‘Using Web 2.0 technology and Storytelling’
• A 'break-out' session at the ‘Learning without Frontiers’ conference in London
