Jacqueline Jackson

Born in Los Angeles, CA Jacqueline "JayCali" Jackson is a student, writer and community relations specialist currently studying Public Relations and Business at the University of Southern California, USC.

In 2010, Jacqueline obtained her bachelors degree in Communication and a minor in Critical Gender Studies from the University of California San Diego. While there, she was the co-editor of The Collective Voice Newspaper, an alternative publication for marginalized voices from underrepresented minorities. Immediately after graduating in 2010 with a B.A. in Communication Jacqueline was accepted to the University of Southern California (USC) to obtain her Master's in Strategic Public Relations with an emphasis in Entertainment and Non-Profit PR.

It was also during this time that she interned with AmeriCorps and the Brotherhood Crusade at local middle and high schools in South Los Angeles. As a growing PR practitioner Jacqueline has interned and completed course projects for a growing number of company's including: Avery Dennison, AttaGirl, Out & About Tours, TRUST South LA, Universal Pictures and held a fellowship with USC's Mobile News Incubator. She is currently completing a social media and communication fellowship with the Los Angeles Urban League while acting as the project associate for Intersections South LA and writing/executive producing for USC's digital publication Neon Tommy.
