James Maas is an internationally recognized sleep consultant, having traveled the world speaking to corporations, athletes, medical professionals, and students about his program, Sleep for Success. Dr. Maas previously earned a Fulbright Senior Professorship allowing him to travel to Sweden, and has instructed students in the field of psychology at Cornell University. James Maas also authored the book Power Sleep, which became a New York Times bestseller in business and was published in 12 different languages.

His Sleep for Success program is designed to instruct audiences in the pitfalls of sleep deprivation, and to help people develop a sleep plan that will enable them to function at their peak. Many corporations and athletic organizations utilize this program to increase performance on the job; educators invite Dr. Maas to speak to students as well. He points out several simple facts regarding sleep deprivation, including how concentration and productivity are compromised as well as health and well-being.
