James Tesche

At present, James Tesche acts as Director of Facilities for Mennonite Home Communities, a Pennsylvania-based organization that upholds a dedication to extending comprehensive and supportive care to senior residents. With years of experience as a division leader, property manager, and business owner, Mr. Tesche ensures that the community remains in good working order and that the employees under his supervision resolve issues quickly and effectively. A committed member of his profession, James Tesche holds membership in several industry organizations, including International Facilities Managers Association. James Tesche's specific duties as Mennonite Home Communities' Director of Facilities include guaranteeing the proper functioning of all electrical and mechanical systems in the buildings, as well as the elevators and emergency sprinklers. In addition, he supervises contractors who perform renovations that involve heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and other systems. Before assuming his current responsibilities, James Tesche enjoyed a lengthy tenure with The Hershey Company. He began at the firm in 1990 as Operations Clerk before moving up to Associate Operations Technician and, later, Operations Technician. He helped create operating protocols for the information technology sector and enjoyed recognition as the youngest corporate-level employee in the history of Chocolate World. Mr. Tesche continued to accept positions of increasing responsibility over the years. In 2003, for instance, he became Electronics Specialist and Capital Projects Manager; in this capacity, he fulfilled project development and plant improvement duties. He finished his career at The Hershey Company as Team Leader of Facilities & Maintenance Services in 2012. Over the course of his career, he has also served as Property Manager for Cherry Street Apartments and as Real Estate Salesperson for Coldwell Banker. He operated his own company, Tesche Enterprise Inc., from 2004 to 2007.
