Jay Levin Dermatology
Graduating in 1978, Dr. Jay Levin earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Levin then continued on into his graduate studies, and completed his Medical Degree at the Georgia Health Sciences University in 1983. Dedicated to refining his abilities through a variety of opportunities, Dr. Jay Levin accepted a position as Intern in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine after earning his MD. He then returned to the Georgia Health Sciences University to complete a residency program in dermatology. Dr. Jay Levin also garnered a fellowship in laser dermatology from Harvard Medical School, which is one of the most prestigious programs in the country. In addition, Dr. Levin pursued additional medical training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital. In additional to his medical education, Dr. Jay Levin refined his abilities in business. Studying at Emory University, Dr. Levin received an Executive Masters in Business Administration in 1999. Now recognized by Atlanta Magazine as one of the city’s leading dermatologists, Dr. Jay Levin offers his expertise from a boutique dermatology practice that his father founded in 1948. In his practice, Dr. Levin focuses on using cutting edge technology to quickly detect and remove skin cancer as well as reconstruct the affected areas. With nearly two and a half decades of experience, Dr. Jay Levin also works to help train another generation of medical professionals. Dr. Jay Levin holds a place as Clinical Instructor at both Georgia Health Sciences University and Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. When not engaged in his professional services in dermatology, Dr. Jay Levin enjoys spending time with his family. He is the father of three children. Dr. Jay Levin is also a dedicated runner. He has finished seven marathons around the United States, and five Ironman competitions. Through his skill and determination, Dr. Jay Levin often places high within these competitions. He was among the top 10 finishers of the Great Floridian Triathlon competition in 2007.
