I'm back at Microsoft - this time as a Technical Advisor to the CTO. I was most recently the cofounder and CTO of Transparent Systems - we built Xand, a new transaction system - 24/7/365, unlimited amounts, settled instantly.

Before that, I was the Technical Advisor to Paul Allen at Vulcan Inc. During my last stint at Microsoft, I designed, built and deployed Project Natick, an underwater datacenter, as well as Holoportation, a real time 3D capture technology (think Jedi Council). I'm always interested in collaborating with people on great projects!

In my spare time, I break things and rebuild them. I was the lead author on Hacking the Kinect. I expect the best out of people and out of myself. I love collaborative projects, the startup atmosphere, and doing great, world-changing things.

Striving every day to become a renaissance man.
