Jegarakshagan Gokul

Jegarakshagan Gokul is a veteran of the information technology industry specializing in software engineering and enterprise architecture. Mr. Gokul has worked for leading firms such as Oracle Corporation and currently serves as Director of the consulting firm Technology Crest Corporation. Mr. Gokul’s experience over the past 20 years has honed his ability to provide architecture solutions for both the public and private sectors in a variety of industries, such as banking and finance, health care, education, telecommunications, and energy. A native of India, Jegarakshagan Gokul studied electronics and communications engineering as an undergraduate at Madurai Kamaraj University and computer science as a graduate student at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani. He immigrated to the United States in the early 1990s to pursue a career as a software engineer. As a systems architect, Jegarakshagan Gokul provides both a strategic and tactical vision to each product he builds. Mr. Gokul can conduct assessments on current systems and offers gap analysis and solutions in addition to developing custom roadmap for architecture projects. In both cases, he sees the process through from planning and development to delivery. Along with his ability to adapt to an increasingly global business climate, Jegarakshagan Gokul has the communication and organizational skills necessary to bridge the gap between technology and clients and allow employees to grasp newly implemented systems. Among the many clients Mr. Gokul has worked for in the past are the State of Oregon, the State of California, the U.S. Department of Energy, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Wells Fargo, and the University of California, San Francisco, Medical Center. Early in his career, Jegarakshagan Gokul held positions as a software engineer and systems analyst for several companies. Mr. Gokul began working in enterprise architecture for Chain-Sys Corporation before accepting a position with Oracle Corporation as a Principal Architect and Senior Solutions Architect for the company’s services-oriented architecture suite. He joined Technology Crest in 2007.
