The first thing you need to know about me is that I am a multitasker…by necessity and design. I am inquisitive by nature and have always pursued new projects, challenges and opportunities. I’ve held positions in multiple disciplines including: marketing, promotions, pubic relations, social media strategy and community management, advertising placement, writing and editing.

I currently lead public relations, charitable giving/campaign management/program administration and social media efforts for Hardee's, one of the largest quick-serve restaurant chains in the U.S. As an advocate and spokesperson for my brand and our efforts and success in the digital/communications space, I am a frequent speaker and presenter at both on and offline events and conferences, including: Vocus, Social Fresh St. Louis, American Marketing Association (AMA), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), RealTimeNY 11, ExactTarget Connections 2011, Show Me the Blog and Social:IRL.

Personally, I support the excellence and standards of my profession as an active member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and Senior Board Member of Social Media Club - St. Louis. As an activist and philanthropist, I serve on the Development Board and Co-Chair the Public Relations and Marketing Committee at Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation and am a member of the Corporate Sponsorship Advisory Committee at Autism Speaks - St. Louis Chapter. I am also administrator of the Stars for Heroes program, the charitable initiative of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's in support of military veterans, families and communities.

My passion for fashion led me to Girls Guide to the Galaxy, an online magazine for Midwest women, where I served as Editor at Large and style contributor. Having also penned a few posts on BlogHer, I plan to launch my own personal blog soon. Stay tuned!

My explorer temperament continues to be challenged as my desire to learn fuels my professional career and other personal pursuits. Both sides have taken me down a winding path that rivals that of Dorothy’s in “The Wizard of Oz.” It’s been a road full of interesting characters, adventures and yes, twisters. But armed with courage, wit and passion, I am enjoying the journey and can't wait to see what experiences lay ahead.
