The first thing you need to know about me is that I am a multitasker…by necessity and design. Perhaps this is because I am inquisitive by nature and have always pursued new projects, challenges and opportunities. I’ve held positions in multiple disciplines including: marketing, promotions, pubic relations, social media strategy and community management, advertising placement, writing and editing. I currently lead public relations, charitable giving/campaign management/program administration and social media efforts for Hardee's, one of the largest quick-serve restaurant chains in the U.S. As an advocate and spokesperson for my brand and our efforts and success in the digital/communications space, I'm an active member of Social Media Club - St. Louis, and an oft-requested speaker/panelist at various marketing, public relations and social media events, webinars and conferences.
Personally, my passion for fashion led me to Girls Guide to the Galaxy, an online magazine for Midwest women, where I served as Editor at Large and style contributor. I'm an activist and philanthropist and am Co-Chair of the Public Relations and Marketing Committee and member of the Executive Development Board at Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation. I also work with the Gateway chapter of Autism speaks as a corporate sponsorship advisor and member of the Public Relations Committee.
My explorer temperament continues to be challenged as my desire to learn fuels my professional career and other personal pursuits. Both sides have taken me down a winding path that rivals that of Dorothy’s in “The Wizard of Oz.” It’s been a road full of interesting characters, adventures and yes, twisters. But armed with courage, wit and passion, I am enjoying the journey and can't wait to see what experiences lay ahead.
