Jennetta Younge

I am a retired K-5 teacher who taught in Northern California for ten years. Although teaching wasn’t my first professional job, I became a teacher to share my passion for learning with my students.

My family’s encounter with three baby raccoons living under our bathtub gave me the idea for my first children’s book, Sammy Ringtail’s Adventure to the BIG CITY.

Growing up on a small Caribbean Island, I lived in England, but have made the United States my home for most of my adult years.

Now living in beautiful Southern California, I enjoy photographing everyday life with my mobile, tweeting, and trying fun recipes I find online, like cinnamon rolls.
