Jiten Mehta

An extensively experienced accountant with international credentials, Jiten Mehta formerly served as a tax preparer for H&R Block and helped clients determine their federal and state tax liabilities under Internal Revenue Service regulations. During his years with H&R Block, Jiten Mehta also provided tax planning for several entrepreneurs starting a new business, as well as existing business owners seeking to incorporate their enterprise.

Before his recent departure from H&R Block, Mr. Mehta joined My Tax Accounting & Business Service, LLC, where he has worked as an accountant since 2012. Drawing on his earlier experience, he conducts for business clients a wide scope of financial reporting and planning services, including bookkeeping, auditing, payroll fulfillment, and tax preparation. To help a clientele ranging from small companies to large corporations maintain a record of their fiscal performance and budget accordingly for the future, Jiten Mehta writes monthly, quarterly, and half-year account reports, as well as year-end reviews with financial forecasts for the ensuing year.

While living in India and preparing for his career, Mr. Mehta studied in Mumbai, where he earned chartered accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and received a bachelor of laws from the Government of Law College. Currently, he belongs to several Indian-American organizations and often mentors immigrants and foreign-exchange students newly arrived in the United States.
