Joe Chad Ellard

Possessing a wide range of leadership experience, Joe Chad Ellard oversees real estate, ranching, and insurance businesses in his native Dallas, TX. Traveling each week between work responsibilities in Texas and his St. Pete Beach, FL, residence, Joe Chad Ellard is also a skilled sailor who has enjoyed many hours on the open water.

Currently, Mr. Ellard works in a supervisory role at his family’s business, National Teachers Associates (NTA) Life Insurance Company. Beginning his career in the mailroom, he quickly went on to serve in the sales department before accepting his present position supporting management and sales team staff as NTA Executive.

In addition, Mr. Ellard guides acquisitions and operations as Owner and Director of real estate entities Cotton Plantation Land Group, LLC, and Spicy Gumbo Property Group, LLC. Both businesses are based in Addison, TX, which is north of Dallas. Additionally, for more than 3 years, he has managed five ranches as a Director of EE Ranches, Inc. While working to ensure the company’s operations remain efficient, he has also secured contracts for more than 550 share-cropping acres and spearheaded the building of the largest privately owned levee in the state of Mississippi.

Actively involved with several charitable causes, Mr. Ellard serves as a Director of the Lynx Educational Foundation. In this role, he offers organizational guidance, raises donations, and spearheads media campaigns for the Newport Beach, California-based nonprofit. In addition, he supports Playing for Change and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Prior to attending Whittier Law School in 2001, Mr. Ellard completed undergraduate coursework at the University of Mississippi, receiving his Bachelor of Arts from the Oxford-based institution in 1995. He graduated from W. T. White High School in 1989.

A practiced Maxi and Mega- Yacht sailor, Chad Ellard has accumulated more than 100,000 blue water miles. In his free time, he enjoys diving and fishing around his home in St. Pete Beach, FL.
