John Gregg

Safety Harbor, FL

My name is John Gregg and I am a 40-year-old stay-at-home dad who has recently made a sincere commitment to physical, mental and spiritual health. After living most of my adult life as a selfish and self-centered person filled with fear and despair, I was finally given the gift of desperation and began my journey towards self-actualization by addressing my addiction to alcohol on August 9, 2012.

Since then, I have also quit smoking (after smoking nearly two packs a day for 20 years), lost nearly 40 pounds, become an avid runner and stopped eating meat. My blood pressure is now normal after having hypertension for over 10 years. I am no longer pre-diabetic and my cholesterol has dropped significantly.

I now tell my story via a blog and podcast called "Left. Right. Breathe." I am dedicated to sharing the stories of people who have accomplished extraordinary things by making the decision to transform their lives. One small step at a time.

Each week I share the journey of an exceptional person who has overcome a major obstacle in their life and gone on to achieve things that were seemingly impossible. The stories I tell are ones of triumph over obesity, addiction and debilitating illness. These are real life examples of incredible transformation, told to inspire and motivate you to start or continue your own journey of change.
