I like to describe myself as "a man of football".
I have had the privilege to experience the beautiful game both as a young professional player, and as a consultant: I have worked with clubs, sport agencies, agents, journalists, coaches, and players. I have built strong relationships with all of them.
I enjoy working in the industry, and I love the game.
In 2002, I decided to leave my home country of Chile to accept a full soccer scholarship in the United States. I graduated with a degree in Economics in 2006 from the University of Illinois. Last year I completed the Translation Studies program at the University of Chicago, which in turn makes me an Economist, a Translator, and an Interpreter by education.
During my free time, I enjoy running, working out and training soccer. “Mente sana en cuerpo sano” would be something like a personal motto. I believe physical and mental strength are directly connected, and building this strength is a long-term, never-ending process. I am also an avid reader, as well as an advocate for justice and social equality.
Last, and most importantly, I am a father: a proud and passionate one. My son‘s name is Mateo. He is 5. Mateo and I live together. We play, every day. He and I live in a world we never stop creating.
