Justin Beach

Once upon a time I was a stage manager and a master control operator for a UHF tv station. Currently I am a freelance writer and web producer, a political junkie and a long time supporter of public broadcasting and the arts. I have worked for PBS, the Canadian Media Guild and the CBC, have consulted on online communications for record labels, artists, production companies and independent film. I launched the crowd sourced music site NxEW.ca in 2009 and have written for a variety of publications from Huffington Post to Commonwealth Broadcaster. I currently run two other blogs at ThatsSwell.ca (pop culture, science & tech) and JustinBeach.ca (politics) and cover science for Daily Digest News.
