Karen Williams
First introduced to beading by her then future mother-in-law almost twenty years ago, Karen has been playing and experimenting with them every since. She now resides in Seattle, Washington, where she continues to explore as an artist, teacher and student. She has taught classes and workshops throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Her studio houses an ever growing collection of baubles, beads, river rocks, twigs, seashells, sea glass, autumn leaves, fabrics, paint supplies and anything else that captures her interest. In an effort to actually do something productive with her collections, Karen published her first book, Freeform Peyote Beading, last fall.
