Kathleen Heuer

Kathleen Heuer is a digital marketing consultant and content strategist at Broken Chord Communications, and an avid arts education advocate. Her latest project is a podcast called Promoting Your Music Program (subscribe in iTunes or Stitcher!). She also offers personalized digital marketing & social media training and consulting for music booster groups, small businesses and nonprofits.

Her background is in advertising and marketing, primarily for music and arts education, having worked with the National Association of Music Parents, the DePaul University School of Music, and Bands of America (now Music for All).

Originally from Chicagoland, she lives in western Pennsylvania, where she founded local Norwin area organizations Relight the Lamp and the Norwin Area Arts Council. She volunteers extensively with the Norwin Band Aides, and at her children's schools.

She is married to an engineer she met while she was in college marching band, and has two daughters who sing, play piano, string bass, trombone, and saxophone.
