Kim N. Howard (formally Carswell) has always been driven to make the world a little more just. As a Kingian Nonviolence Trainer with global experience, she became an expert at defusing tensions and bridging divides. Kim knew that you had to start by changing hearts to change society.

Persona Affairs’ pioneering programs continue empowering individuals and organizations to drive change through principled negotiation and bridge-building. With patience and compassion, she guides workplaces from hostility to humanity.

This calling led her to harmonize proven conflict resolution techniques into an actionable methodology. As a Nonviolence educator for over 16 years and Director at the historic King Center, Kim modernized systems to spread this transformative approach worldwide.

Soon, leaders were tapping into our expertise to navigate EEOC claims and discrimination cases. Using the principle of "Kintsugi," she advised clients on controlling narratives to turn adversarial situations into progress.

But Kim knew everyday workplace conflicts needed healing, too. She pioneered virtual leadership training to address belonging challenges and equip teams with nonviolent tools.
