Kymm Coveney

Raised in the suburbs south of Boston, I received a BA in literature in’81, came to Spain in ’82, and am now living in Barcelona, raising polyglot kids, and fooling with written languages. I did freelance commercial and technical translation for fifteen years before taking on a partnership in business consultancy.
I vent creatively at BetterLies, and occasionally post guerrilla-translated poetry on tumblr (mostly during US National Poetry Month).
I joined Twitter to follow The Atlantic’s #1book140 twitter bookclub, and I regularly practice flash fiction at the Trifecta Writing Challenge site.
I had my first real vacation ever at the BCLT Summer School 2013, where I was encouraged to chase the dream of literary translation.
