Hello, congratulations on exploring about.me and finding my profile - that was inspired!

Technology change can be good when it is the right option and implemented in the right way. I see what is on offer as a means to improving experiences, both my own and those of the people I work with and alongside. Done badly it can cause disruption of the wrong kind and leaves everyone very frustrated. Worse, it can give competitors the edge.

Many people in business still fail to appreciate the benefits that a good IT portfolio can deliver because they allow fear of change to curtail innovative ideas. Interacting with people, businesses and organisations through apps and platforms is very much the future of work and I am constantly looking at new ways to do ordinary things simply. Time is money!

Technology evolution requires attention to detail though, you have to learn, plan and strategise to maximise opportunities. Cyber Threats are constant and must be managed 24/365 and I have a genuine knowledge of how risks can manifest and harm business.

I enjoy swimming, cycling and hockey and appreciate fine wines. I am now President of Weston-super-Mare Hockey Club as well as the founder of the Wolfbangers Hockey Club, a touring invitational team.

I coach Swimming, would-be Triathletes and Hockey; and have a goal to cycle the USA West coast to East coast.
