Liliana Albizu Lizardi, is a certified wedding planner and founder of Handcrafted Weds & Events, Inc.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico she specializes in crafting hi-end wedding events for Puerto Rican couples living abroad (the “Diaspora Boricua”). Her expertise is providing a fun and reliable planning process tailored to the couple’s needs, to showcase the Island’s culture. She is known for her attention to details and systems-oriented mindset.

With over 12 years of experience in the event industry she has access to the network of local event-industry pros to unlock the best that the Island has to offer. Her event portfolio also includes distinguished clients such as: Ikea, Procter & Gamble, Ferrero Caribe, Total Petroleum, DirecTV, Marriott, McCain, US Department of Commerce, BDO, Pan Pepin and the Puerto Rico House of Representatives. Liliana has acted as guest speaker at the Preston Bailey-Protégé Workshop, and has co-produced the San Juan Wedding Week. Her work has been featured in magazines and blogs, such as Esposa Moderna, Magacin, Revista Mirame Siempre, Style Me Pretty, and Iconos Mag, among others.
