Linda Kowalski Lobbyist is well known for substantial legislative achievements as president of The Kowalski Group, LLC. The dedication and tenacity she has displayed during her twenty-seven years of service is recognized by many.

Linda is highly respected among state legislators, municipal leaders, officials of Congress and her clients. She focuses on government relations at the state, local and federal levels.

One of her most outstanding achievements has been to enact legislation to modernize the practice of Optometry in Connecticut. From 1986, 1992 and again in 1996, she worked successfuly to expand the Optometric scope so that more services could be delivered to patient.

Linda has a particular expertise in healthcare issues and policies that affect medical professionals. She has also lobbied for a diverse range of clients in such fields as private schools, alcohol and beverage industry, telephone and telecommunication companies, retail automotive sales and waste management.

Linda was acknowledged for her outstanding contributions by the Hartford Business Journal during the "Top 40 Under Forty" issue published on August 30, 1999.

She has other honors from highly distinguished organizations. On September 26, 1997, she was recognized by The Connecticut Dental Hygienists Association in appreciation of her role in protecting the profession.

She was also honored in 1995 in regard to a Student Center Bonding Bill.

In 2010, the CAO recognized Linda Kowalski "For Twenty-Five Years of Outstanding Service on Behalf of the CAO".

In 1993, Linda received an Award of Appreciation for "Dedicated Service to the Profession of Podiatric Medicine". That same year, she received an "Outstanding Leadership Award" from the Connecticut Campgrounds Owners Association, Inc. in recognition of her work to repeal a 12% tax on campgrounds.

Over the years, Linda has earned the respect and admiration of her clients. The Connecticut Dental Hygienists Association presented her with an award on September 26, 1997, in "Recognition of Time and Efforts Contributed Towards the Advancement of the Dental Hygiene Profession".
