Lisa Ramshaw is passionate about using social media to improve outcomes in health care. She is currently CEO of Navigate Communications a specialist healthcare communications agency. She is also Director, Communications and Marketing at the Australian Private Hospitals Association where she advises almost 300 member hospitals on social media, marketing and communications.

She recently co-authored a guide to twitter for healthcare professionals entitled, Don't Be An Egghead.

Lisa is also a Gold Fellow of the Mayo Clinic's Social Media Network and a member of their External Advisory Board. She is a communications specialist with more than 20 years’ experience working internationally and in Australia for companies such as Amazon.co.uk, The National Trust and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

Lisa is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Australian Institute of Marketing.

Originally from the US, she lived in the UK for a number of years and currently calls Canberra, Australia home.
