Loretta Itri

A respected pharmaceutical industry professional, Loretta Itri currently guides a New Jersey firm as senior vice president. She directs regulatory and clinical affairs, and manages diverse project and life cycle functions. Prior to accepting her current position, Loretta Itri was president of pharmaceutical development with Genta, Inc. She played a vital role in the development of diverse therapeutic agents that helped treat conditions such as prostate and breast cancer.

Dr. Itri studied biology at Long Island University and completed her doctor of medicine at the New York Medical College. She undertook residency training at the State University of New York-Stony Brook and pursued an oncology fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Dr. Itri held adjunct attending physician responsibilities with MSKCC for a number of years. Her past positions include a role as worldwide clinical affairs executive with Johnson & Johnson; in this post, Loretta Itri grew sales of products in the hematology, oncology, and immunology areas significantly.
