Mark Edwards Edelstein

Marketing Technologist, Business Analyst, and Online Content Creator in St. Louis, Missouri

I am a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager passionate about translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable technical solutions. My core expertise lies in the analytical side of digital transformation: gathering detailed requirements, optimizing operational workflows, and ensuring that every technology deployment directly serves the broader business strategy.

Throughout my career, I have led enterprise-scale digital initiatives, including massive web migrations and platform rebuilds utilizing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). I thrive in the space between marketing stakeholders and technical development teams. By leveraging tools like Jira and monday.com, I analyze existing inefficiencies and design custom processes that improve visibility, speed up turnaround times, and eliminate scope creep.

Before transitioning into enterprise technology, I built a successful career in the radio broadcasting industry. I led programming, brand management, and content development for major markets and national syndications, consistently driving stations to #1 rankings.

The absolute highlight of this era was my time in Chicago as Vice President of Programming for WLIT throughout the 90s. Beyond leading the station's historic climb from 13th to 1st in its target demographic and setting all-time billing records, this chapter was where my passion for digital technology truly ignited. I helped launch the very first website for a radio station in Chicago and pioneered "On Demand Audio"—an early predecessor to modern podcasting. That foundational experience in early digital innovation and audience engagement perfectly set the stage for my pivot into enterprise web management.

Today, a significant part of my analytical approach involves risk mitigation and compliance; I have spearheaded initiatives to ensure global digital touchpoints meet rigorous WCAG accessibility standards and international regulatory requirements. Whether I am mapping out the architecture for a global SaaS integration or managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a site launch, my focus is always on creating digital experiences that are efficient, inclusive, and fundamentally aligned with business goals.

When I step away from the keyboard, you can usually find me catching a Cubs game or heading out to a venue to enjoy some live classic rock.
