I'm a passionate engineer, entrepeneur, and all out nerd living in Austin, TX. I was fortunate to attend Google I/O 2012 and be one of the select few to join the Glass Explorers Program. I strongly believe we are on the forefront of a technology revolution with heads up display technologies and wearable computing in general. With mass market devices about to hit the world like Google Glass and my passion for the web/mobile connected world I found myself in front of an exciting startup called Pristine. Pristine is developing advanced software solutions for heads up display technologies like Google Glass in healthcare environments. I knew instantly this is what I wanted to do so I joined Pristine in August 2013 as VP of Engineering. I work with a cadre of the latest and greatest technologies, building Android, Web, Node and Mongo based applications, and will be leading the build out of the engineering team.

In my 7 years prior to Pristine I worked for National Instruments (NI), where I worked with customers to understand their needs and challenges, and then lead small and large hardware and software teams from design to release to solve those problems. As a product manager, I am obsessed with fixing inefficiencies and optimizing the UX to a tee. I also developed several NI-wide real-time data analytics tools in addition to many personal side projects.

If I'm not geeking out (as my wife says) you can usually find my wife Rebecca and I playing sand volleyball, wakeboarding, catching some live music, or playing with our 2 golden retrievers. We have fallen in love with Austin since we've lived here with the live music scene, sports activities, and 9 months of gorgeous weather. Yes the summers are hot but that doesn't stop us from getting in the sand or out on the lakes.
