Boston, Massachusetts, attorney Mary-Laura Greely has served as a partner with Brown Rudnick, LLP, since January 2011. A member of the Corporate and Capital Markets Law Department, as well as the Private Equity and Venture practice groups, Mary-Laura Greely provides counsel for a broad array of legal matters. Her practice areas include corporate law, as well as corporate finance, intellectual property, and joint ventures. Additionally, she advises private equity and venture capital groups on the legal structure and risks of their investments.

Throughout her career, Mary-Laura Greely has represented companies from various industries in transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Engagements have included representing clients in their sales to such companies as 3M Corporation, Iron Mountain Incorporated and iHeartMedia, Inc.(Clear Channel), respectively. With broad experience in health care law, she also serves as outside general corporate counsel for hospital networks, physician practices and healthcare IT companies, assisting them in navigating the legal and business aspects of mergers and acquisitions and day-to-day contracts.

Additionally, several of the transactions in which Mary-Laura Greely has served as corporate counsel have received various awards. Mass High Tech and The Association for Corporate Growth Boston selected the sale of her client eScription, Inc., to Nuance Communications, Inc., for its 2008 Tech Dealmaker Award. In December of 2013, a Brown Rudnick legal team on which she served won the M&A Advisor "Deal of the Year" Award for a transaction that involved the purchase by Walter Investment and Green Tree Servicing of certain mortgage and related assets of Residential Capital, LLC, and GMAC Mortgage.
