Matt Gohd

Based in New York City, investment professional Matt Gohd possesses a long history of managing boutique and mid-sized broker-dealers and advising key lawmakers on matters of financial security. Prior to launching his career, Mr. Gohd studied finance and statistics at California State University, East Bay, and earned his Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

During the last decade, Matt Gohd has served as the head of several financial firms, including Bluestone Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank that originated more than a billion dollars in public offerings for companies in high-tech industries. Following the sale of Bluestone Capital in 2001, Mr. Gohd worked as a principal and Managing Director of the derivatives and fixed income firm, Pali Capital, until 2008.

In 2010, he accepted his current position, Senior Managing Director of Revere Securities Corporation’s Tactical Strategy Group, a division that applies proprietary tools to create probabilistic maps of potential stock outcomes.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Gohd has achieved a nationwide reputation for accurately and precisely predicting the direction of financial markets, and as a result, he has been quoted on numerous occasions by reporters at CNBC and Fox Business. Matt Gohd’s experience also makes him a sought-after figure within the political arena. Mr. Gohd has advised elected officials, including U.S. presidents and vice presidents, on the status and potential directions of capital markets, capital formation, and other economic issues. Mr. Gohd served as a Managing Trustee of the Democratic National Committee and a member of past White House environmental summits.

A generous philanthropist as well, Mr. Gohd helped found the Starlight Children’s Foundation, and he currently supports and contributes to the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.
