Michael Muench

A New York resident, Michael Muench has nearly four decades of manufacturing engineer experience. Serving various capacities throughout his career, he has predominantly held management positions for leading industrial companies like Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation and Buffalo Forge Company. In his latest position, with Wendt Corporation, Michael J. Muench served as a plant manager with responsibilities including managing facility operations, serving as safety director, and integrating software systems to streamline business practices.

Prior to this role, he was a senior process engineer at General Motors Corporation in Tonawanda, New York. There, he worked in the powertrain division managing subcontractors and designing tools for CNC and automation operations. Furthermore, Mr. Muench implemented an assessment system at the company that audited processes, ensuring the highest level of quality was maintained.

A graduate of State University of New York at Buffalo, Mr. Muench likes to spend his spare time remodeling his home and reading adventure novels. In addition, he enjoys golf playing softball and classic cars.
