Michael Pastori

Over the past several years, Michael Pastori has devoted much of his time to training for a career in nursing. He began his education at Union University in Germantown, Tennessee, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and graduated magna cum laude. Since 2011, Michael Pastori has been studying at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he is enrolled in an accelerated dual-degree program that places him on track to complete his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December of 2012, followed by his Master of Science in Nursing in May of 2013. Committed to assisting those in need, Michael Pastori has participated in races that raise money for charitable causes, such as the St. Jude Memphis Marathon, which benefitted the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He has also volunteered at the NAMI Memphis Fun Run/Walk to support the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Mr. Pastori is an enthusiastic athlete who loves to play many sports, from basketball and baseball to tennis and golf. As a sports fan, he enjoys tracking player and team statistics. He has a particular affinity for teams from New England, including the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics, the Boston Bruins, and the New England Patriots. An avid fisherman, Michael Pastori has fished the deepest waters of the Gulf of Mexico, where he made his biggest catch, a 150-pound bull shark. Additionally, Mr. Pastori has spent time fishing in the Caribbean Sea and off the coast of Nevis Island in the West Indies.
