Michael Muchnicki

Michael Muchnicki was recently named a Power Leader in Health Care by the South Florida Business Journal, the leading business publication in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Muchnicki is a seasoned healthcare leader with more than 25 years of senior executive experience. He currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Office of Univita Health based in Miramar, Florida. Univita is the nationwide leader in home healthcare solutions.

Prior to joining Univita, he was an executive healthcare consultant in Atlanta, Georgia. His duties included recommending operational strategies to senior executives and board members of healthcare providers, health plans, and pharmacy benefit managers. Muchnicki also helped health services companies design marketing and program management strategies that sustained growth and maximized revenue.

Prior to his consultant work, Muchnicki served as president, CEO, and member of the board for Windsor Health Group, a national health services company acquired by WellCare in September of 2013. Throughout his career, Michael Muchnicki has served on the board of directors for several institutions, including the American Heart Association of Broward County, Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida, WVIZ Public Television, and Touchstone Health Partnership. He currently holds positions on the boards of Solstice Insurance Company and Open Hand.
