I was a pioneer in the sales automation, desktop publishing and e-commerce revolutions. Early adoption of those technologies empowered us to do much more with far less; and generously rewarded us.

I have 20+ years of Advertising, Marketing and Sales experience; and have enjoyed an enviable track record for hiring, developing, motivating and retaining high performance, cross-functional teams in fast-paced advertising and publishing environments.

I earned a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles and have extensive Human Resources and Operations experience. I founded and grew a small boutique advertising agency into one of LA's top 25 Ad Agencies (in revenues). I also opened offices in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Mexico City, before I sold sold Arlen Advertising in October of 1999. I also founded Arlen Medical Education Products, a company which designed and sold training materials to health care professionals. After I sold my ad agency, my work at Arlen Med Ed, became my "retirement job."

After suffering a freak heart attack of my own in 2005, I decided to change my lifestyle and the focus of my work to that of helping people become more healthy and avoid heart attacks, some forms of cancer and degenerative diseases. That's the reason why I launched NEWtritious™, a functional foods and beverage company.

What's Next:

We're planning to launch the NEWtritious App, which will help people find the healthy offerings that local restaurants have for the day. We also hope to launch "Second Wind" a human resources organization, which will focus on re-engaging the skills and talents of successful Baby Boomers who'd like to dedicate themselves to a "second wind career" selling our products (initially) to hospitals, and other healthcare organizations.
