Mike Atkinson

Before beginning a career as an investments and acquisitions, Mike Atkinson earned his bachelor of arts in Business Finance at Texas Christian University (TCU), in Fort Worth. Since graduating, Mike Atkinson has remained active at his alma mater. He has offered his counsel to the school’s administration as a member of the TCU Chancellor’s Advisory Committee, in addition to serving on the MJ Neely School of Business Advisory Board.

While a student at TCU, Mr. Atkinson began his career with the Fort Worth firm Mitchell-Eudaly & Associates. Several years later, he joined New York-based commercial real estate company Julien J. Studley, Inc., where he served as a managing director. He was responsible for developing Studley’s Global Investment Group and executing acquisitions that required securing equity from the United States, South America, and Europe.

Since 1996, Mike Atkinson has served as president and CEO of his business, MMA Investments LLC, in Fort Worth. At MMA, he has broadened the scope of his investment transactions beyond real estate to include purchases in a variety of industries, including energy production. Currently, he is interested in the future prospects for both conventional and alternative energy resources.
