Curtis Robertson is a big city guy who is living in rural small town Minnesota. As a Technology Coordinator he has helped install, implement, and improve the educational technologies of Upsala Area Schools. Through the use of Interactive Boards, online Learning Environments, Chromebook Labs, and more, Mr. Robertson is looking towards the future of educational technology and where the road will lead next.

While being the Technology Coordinator he also is a Career and Technology Educator, creating and improving the awareness of students to the digital age and world around them. Through the integration of courses that are basic to advanced from learning computer applications, digital media, and more actively a career exploration initiative. Mr. Robertson has been working to improve the course offerings and keeping students up to date with the needs of the future and the demands of today's society.

Mr. Robertson's passion revolves around the FIRST Robotics Challenge (c), particularly Team 4480 - UC-Botics. Founded in 2013 by Mr. Robertson, this ground breaking, hard working, and extremely fun extra-curricular event allows students to take engineering concepts and ideas, apply them against a challenge, and test their abilities in building a fully working robot that will compete with and against other schools in a Minnesota State High School League sanctioned Regional Event. Mr. Robertson's passion for FIRST has driven him to greater initiatives and experiences, He has taken on the role of Vice President for the Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference, is the exiting president of the Minnesota Robotics Coaches Association, and actively volunteers annually with FIRST Robotics Regional and off-season events around the state.
