After spending 8 years in the private sector, during which she lead multinational teams to conceptualize and implement digital communication of international brands, Naeema Zarif took a leap into non- for-profit in 2009, thus pioneering change leadership in MENA through joining forces with Creative Commons as their Arab World public lead and Regional Coordinator.
In 2016 she established The Fifth Corp, a social enterprise, offering strategic communications consultancy, customized training programs, campaigning and crisis communication to an array of Governmental Institutes and international NGOs to leverage their communications & engage with global audiences.
She is an enthusiastic advocate for digital diplomacy, OER, and everything open, speaking and lecturing frequently at conferences and educational institutes.
When not online she travels the world collecting anthropological insights & sampling culinary adventures.
