Nikki-Dee Ray

Meteorologist Nikki-Dee Ray can be seen weekdays on CBS 6 This Morning, Virginia This Morning and the CBS 6 News at Noon. The Alabama native attended Auburn University and Mississippi State University where she graduated with a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences.

Nikki-Dee Ray joined the KLBK Storm Track Center as Morning Meteorologist in May of 2010... She became one of the youngest Chief Meteorologist in the Nation in April 2011. Nikki-Dee led a team of Texas meteorologists through numerous severe weather events. She was awarded "Best Local TV Weathercaster" in 2013 and 2014.

Nikki-Dee graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. degree in Atmospheric Sciences, as well as a minor in Broadcasting. Ironically, she attended Auburn University before transferring to Mississippi State, where she cheered on the Auburn Tigers under Tommy Tuberville. While in college, Nikki-Dee interned at WHNT-TV in Huntsville under Meteorologists' James-Paul Dice and Dan Satterfield.

Nikki-Dee's passion for weather began as a young child. She even was a 'Kid Caster' at the station she interned at in college. Nikki-Dee's love with the ever-changing weather is contagious!

She feels extremely blessed to have such supportive parents and family.
