Nish’s musical journey started at Yamaha Music School at the tender age of 4. In 2005, after completing the Berklee Transfer Programme at the International College of Music in Kuala Lumpur, Nish left for Boston to further their studies in music. Nish graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music Degree Summa Cum Laude in Performance and Arranging.

Since returning from Boston in 2007, this versatile pianist and keyboardist has worked with a wide range of musicians and artistes. Loving nothing better than to perform with like-minded talents, Nish is very active in the music and performing arts scene. The many people Nish has had the pleasure of performing with include Najwa Mahiaddin, Poova, Elvira Arul, Zalina Lee, Janet Lee, Mia Palencia, Reza Salleh, Zailan Razak, Hannah Tan, Altimet and One Buck Short amongst others.

Besides live gigs, Nish has also worked on theatre productions with the critically acclaimed Instant Café Theatre. Nish was the Musical Director for Pan Productions' staging of "Cabaret - The Musical" and most recently on Farah Sulaiman and Friends' production of "Broadway Bites". Nish is also the pianist for The Philharmonic Society of Selangor and has done numerous shows with them since 2010.

Nish has participated in various festivals and events such as the Sunrise Jazz and Rhythm Festival, the Penang Island Jazz Festival, Shout! Awards, Hennessy Artistry, and the F1 Gala Dinner. With their band, Thing One, Nish has had the pleasure of opening for international artistes, Ne-yo, Babyface and Michael Bublé.

Nish’s first experience performing internationally was when they represented Yamaha Music School Malaysia in the International Junior Original Concert, held at Bunkamura Hall in Tokyo in the year 2000. Nish visited Japan again in 2010 to participate in the Kansai Music Conference in Osaka, and included Nagoya, Tokyo, and Nara as part of their tour. Nish also accompanied the Philharmonic Society of Selangor on their tour of Western Australia in 2011, where they participated in the Perth-Bunbury International Choral Festival.
