Okwuolisa Ikediobi

Okwuolisa Ikediobi, M.D., specializes in primary care for people of all ages and is knowledgeable about the varied medical needs of children as well as geriatric patients. One of his passions is influencing the lives of his patients and educating them about holistic health care. Dr. Okwuolisa Ikediobi shows his dedication to medicine through his pro bono contributions to his community. Dr. Ikediobi currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, but he remains flexible to relocation for the right position.

Dr. Okwuolisa Ikediobi's most recent position was with Family Health Centers, Inc., in Louisville, Kentucky, where he was an attending physician working in the Urgent Care and Outpatient centers. Before working with this group, Dr. Ikediobi spent three years with Meharry Medical Center as a resident physician in the Family Medicine department. His main duties consisted of working with patients of every age, assessing their health, and establishing effective treatment plans. Okwu Ikediobi, M.D., was also in charge of administering treatment for a variety of illnesses and health issues.

Over the past few years, Dr. Okwuolisa Ikediobi received several accolades for his exceptional care and service in the medical profession. In 2011, Meharry Medical Center awarded him the Grand Rounds Attendance Award and the Medical Knowledge Achievement Award. He was also a 2010 Chief Resident nominee.

Dr. Okwu Ikediobi is a 2001 graduate of Meharry Medical College in Nashville. His core rotations included Metro Nashville General Hospital and a VA Medical Center in Tennessee. After receiving his M.D., Okwuolisa Ikediobi completed residencies at Meharry Medical College, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, and the University of Illinois-Chicago. He worked in the areas of family medicine, internal medicine, and OB/GYN. Prior to his medical education, Okwu Ikediobi graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
