Hello all! My name is KaState University studying Public Communication with a minor in Public Relations. I am a recipient of the 2012 Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities students and editor of website HerCampus- SFA Branch. I obtained an associates degree from Kilgore College in which I participated in the Student Senate, Student Government Association and Ranger Ambassadors (student recrutiment program for students to encourage others to attend Kilgore). I was also a part of the Sigma Kappa Delta English Honor Society, and nominated as Kilgore College's Most Outstanding and Most Representative student. Outside of school, my activities include being PR for a Christian youth group in Longview, TX, "The TURNAROUND." The TURNAROUND is led by a group of young adults striving to put the positivity in Longview, TX teens, by spreading Christianity through youth conferences and praise events throughout the summer. I have the honor to work with, PR mentor, Raven Robinson founder of PR2Politics (PR Firm in New York) virtually. While under Raven's instruction, I've improved my knowledge and understanding of the public relations field. I'm hoping to expand my knowledge of the field with my current virtual internships with Cassie McDougal, founder of CasMacPR in Tennessee and Dee Dee Cocheta, founder of ABC Publicity, in Atlanta, GA. I am excited about my future profession in Communications and eager for any opportunity presented to me!
