Paige Wyman

Marketing Communications and Photography Student, Class of 2012

I am a fourth year Integrated Marketing Communications and Photography undergraduate at Emerson College.

The past few years I've discovered my passion for volunteering and giving back to the community. I've volunteered at Rosie's Place, a shelter for poor and homeless women, serving food to needy women. Additionally, I was a marketing volunteer for an up and coming nonprofit called Safe People Safe Pets, an organization that works on driving awareness to the connection between animal abuse and domestic violence. Currently I am a marketing intern at Building Impact, a rapidly growing nonprofit that provides opportunities for the community to get involved by partnering with real estate management and other relevant nonprofits in the Boston area. This experience with giving back to the community taught me to be hands-on communicator.

This past Fall I was a member of Saus EMcomm account, a student-run marketing agency through Emerson College. We produced promotional videos, scavenger hunts, and sticker designs. Previously, I was a member of Special Olympics Massachusetts EMcomm account. We developed a Twitter campaign and filmed promotional videos for the Special Olympics' Polar Plunge event.

After graduation, I would love to work with a nonprofit or local company with a sense of social responsibility and morality. Besides marketing and involvement in the community, I spend my time antiquing and exploring the coast of Maine.
