Patrick Borchard

Patrick Borchard is a respected Chicago executive who guides Pangea Properties as its chief financial officer. His responsibilities with the privately held real estate investment trust encompass investor relations, leveraged finance, and financial accounting. Patrick Borchard and his team undertake investments focused primarily on distressed multifamily residential properties rated as Class B or Class C. Current holdings span nearly eleven thousand recently rehabilitated and renovated apartments across Chicago’s South Side and West Side neighborhoods, as well as in Indianapolis and Baltimore.

Prior to joining Pangea, Mr. Borchard previously served as senior director and business unit leader of Cash America International’s U.S. Internet lending division. There he oversaw all aspects of the US business from software/product to operations and business development for a unit with nearly 600 employees. Mr. Borchard holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance with high honors from the University of Notre Dame. He is active with the National Multi-Housing Counsel and the Notre Dame Club of Chicago.

An avid scuba diver in his free time, Patrick Borchard has visited destinations in the Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Bahamas and Turks and Caicos.
