Paul Hawkes

When Paul Hawkes was asked by his good friend, Speaker Designate Daniel Webster, in 1996 to be Special Counsel for the Florida House of Representatives, Paul Hawkes knew he was being given the opportunity to stand on the sidelines of history. It had been 122 years since the Republicans had had the majority in the Florida House of Representatives. Paul Hawkes was able to be a part of the beginning of a new era in Florida Government.
