Paul Wright

Dr. Paul Wright, who previously served as Director with Arizona's Mesa Public Schools, presently lends his talents to the Phoenix-based consulting firm Quality Education Partnerships (Q.E.P.). In his role as Q.E.P.'s Director, which he assumed in 2010, he specializes in helping struggling schools to turn around their operations and educational programs. By amassing and analyzing data on the organizations, he constructs reform initiatives that also seek to enhance teachers' professional development. Since taking up his post with Q.E.P., he has worked with clients like Kyrene School District and Mosaica Education. To prepare for success with Q.E.P., Mesa Public Schools, and other organizations, Dr. Paul Wright completed an extensive amount of formal education.

Dr. Wright began his postsecondary studies with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the SUNY Albany campus. He later entered Arizona State University in Tempe, where he undertook coursework in special education to obtain his Master of Education. He then stayed on at Arizona State University to study for his doctorate, which he earned in 2004. To further his professional prospects and enhance his understanding of his chosen field, he received additional training at the University of Monterrey, as well as the University of London. Finally, he holds certification in the Level I & II Head of Schools International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program.

Dr. Paul Wright first embarked on his career in 1994, when he became a special education teacher at Laveen School District. Drawing on his knowledge of behavioral intervention, he established an initiative to assist children with emotional disabilities and counseled teachers on ways of better meeting these students' needs. Later, he fulfilled similar obligations for Kyrene School District. In other past experience, he held the role of Vice President for Student Services at The Leona Group.
