Peter Bucchieri

An Outside Chief Financial Officer for five different firms, Peter Bucchieri serves as the President and Principal at Independent Consulting, LLC, in Las Vegas. Concentrating on financial and tax planning for corporations, individuals, trusts, and partnerships, Peter Bucchieri has worked with the company for more than 30 years.

Throughout his career, Peter Bucchieri has worked with clients across the country and around the world. He has successfully defended clients before the Internal Revenue Service while based in Massachusetts. After moving to Las Vegas, he focused on utilizing his skills as a gaming securities analyst. Some of Mr. Bucchieri’s most recent successes include negotiating the reduction of a business loan by $40,000 for a client with the successor of a failed bank, helping a trust referred by a bank to renovate, increasing leased space, selling a building to protect the trust’s beneficiaries, and recovering property for a client in a fraud case.

Peter Bucchieri entered the field of financial and tax planning in 1978 after graduating from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He soon became one of the first Certified Financial Planners in the country and continues to excel in the field more than three decades later.
