Before shifting his focus to private practice, Prashant Pandya, D.M.D., served as Chief Resident of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center.

During his tenure, Prashant Pandya, D.M.D., developed his surgical expertise. Aside from his work at the hospital, Dr. Pandya also expanded his medical knowledge through clinical investigations of giant lipomas and temporomandibular joint disorders. Collaborating with two colleagues, he presented research on minimally invasive endoscopic assisted enucleation of large ondontogenic keratocysts in the mandible and maxilla at a conference.
Today, Prashant Pandya, D.M.D., utilizes his specialized training and experience to ensure that his patients achieve optimal dental health. His practice, Manatee Oral & Facial Surgery Center, is equipped with proven, cutting-edge technologies. The center uses three-dimensional imaging, which is less invasive than traditional devices.
