Q THE PROPHET is a Trailblazer in New York's Underground Movement, and is considered to be the hardest working man in God's Business. Q hails from Brownsville-Brooklyn New York and has made a name for himself by touching almost every reputable show in New York from “Faces In the Crowd”, “The Streets Have A Voice”, and “The Urban Threshold”. Q The Prophet has blazed the stage and has built a following that is incredible, even the most critical must salute his talent. Q The Prophet is a unique artist as well as a pioneer being that he is a Christian MC but has an edge to him that most Christian Artist don't. He caters to the streets and delivers great substance in his music that comes across almost like a sermon, but with enough swagger to keep you hooked. Q has the courage to stand and deliver life through his music, his stage show is undeniable and in the first minute you know you’re in the presence of a seasoned artist and future star. After winning the McDonald's Gospelfest in 2003, he later dropped an independent EP entitled “Touch & Agree” which he independently sold 1,000 copies. This being the prelude to his journey, Q The Prophet is becoming one of New York's leading Positive MCs with a powerful movement behind him known as The B.U.R.N. U Movement. Q has become widely accepted in 2006 after he was heard on DJ Kay Slay's Mixtape “Konquer The World Vol. 2”, making him the 1st Christian MC who has ever done it. He has performed and graced the stage with artists such as Ice-T, Grafh, Joell Ortiz, Jin the Asian Emcee, Lady Luck, as well as, Hezekiah Walker, Helen Baylor, Vickie Winans, Cissy Houston and Donnie McClurkin and he has rocked nearly almost every Club in NYC from Public Assembly, Sputnik, Caroline's Comedy Club, Bowery Poetry Club, Santos Party House, Don Hill's etc, to including out of state shows. Q has also made various television appearances and radio interviews. In August 2007 Q won the 2007 Underground Music Award. Q The Prophet can also be seen on “Whatz Really Hood DVD vol. 7”, “Whatz Really Hood vol. 9.5” and Video Music Box with his award winning music video entitled, “Momma's Only Child”.
