I'm an Australian Mum of two who married my high school sweetheart in 2008. I have an sweet and inquisitive son named Cameron (born 31/12/09) and a gorgeous and determined daughter named Lucy (born 25/03/12).

I had a missed miscarriage (13.5 weeks) prior to having my children and used to do video blogs about trying-to-conceive and pregnancy. I have and am treated for clinical major depressive disorder and generalised anxiety disorder. I'm always willing to talk to others who are struggling. Motherhood is the most difficult and rewarding thing I have ever done.

Although I don't like to label things & believe there is no one-size-fits-all to parenting/children/learning; Instinctively I have been drawn to elements of attachment & natural parenting. I am a supporter of breastfeeding & breast-milk, we co-sleep, baby-wear and practice gentle discipline.

I love to read and write and am very passionate about education, particularly early childhood education. I hope one day to be an early childhood teacher or even run my own preschool. I draw inspiration from the Montessori method and the Reggio approach. I also love aspects of Waldorf living and project/inquiry-based learning.
