Rex Ahlstrom

A resident of Herndon, Virginia, Rex Ahlstrom works for SAP, a worldwide company with local offices in Reston, Virginia, where he has served as Vice President of Operations since 2009. Following SAP’s purchase of his former company, SOALogix, he supervised the transition of all SOALogix Inc. employees and products. Ahlstrom now works in Enterprise Asset Management Solutions and, among other duties, maintains responsibility for recognizing new industry approaches to encourage revenue increases for SAP and its associates.

In 2002, Rex Ahlstrom founded SOALogix. Serving the company from 2002 to 2009 as President and Chief Executive Officer, he oversaw all areas of operations. He formed SOALogix when he took over a consulting firm followed by two intellectual property acquisitions, thereby converting the company into an enterprise software firm.

From 1994 to 2002, Rex G. Ahlstrom lent his talents to MSI Software, Inc., in Fairfax, a company later acquired by AtStaff, Inc. There, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Technology Officer. While performing in these capacities, he held responsibility for overall management, financial operations, marketing, and product strategy. He also maintained all facets of the company’s research and development, programming, and quality assurance (QA) standards.
